Social activities for people with special needs
The City of Subiaco provides a wide range of activities for people with special needs.
Most of these activities are based at Tom Dadour Community Centre, 363 Bagot Road, Subiaco. Eligibility criteria may apply for some activities.
Subi Club is an exciting program for adults with a disability. It provides the opportunity for participants to learn and maintain life skills, promote wellness, engage in community events and enhance wellbeing, all in a supportive and friendly social context. The group participates in a range of activities including regular visits to Lords Recreation Centre, day trips, arts and craft, food preparation, Men's Shed activities and much more.
Transport to and from Tom Dadour Community Centre can be provided for Subiaco residents.
Subi Club is partly funded by the Home and Community Care (HACC) program and is available to HACC eligible and non-HACC eligible residents alike. Fees are charged according to the participant's status and eligibility.

Specifically designed for physically independent individuals with special needs, Moove2Groove is a group dance fitness class aimed at providing participants with the opportunity to increase their overall fitness. The class utilises a range of functional movements performed to popular music chosen by the participants.
