Organising a public event
If you are organising a public event in the City of Subiaco, you must obtain approval from the city. Find out about applications and requirements.
Public events are a great part of community life and are encouraged by the city. However, the gathering of a large number of people does require management to ensure public safety is always maintained. For this reason, the city is required to approve such gatherings.

Information required with your application
Details about the type of event.
The proposed date of the event, including starting and finishing times.
The location and/or venue for the proposed event.
A detailed plan drawn to scale of 1:100 outlining the area, details of the exits and exit widths, signage, fencing, lighting, toilets, food stalls, first air posts, fire fighting equipment, etc.
Proposed number of patrons to attend the event.
Details of any temporary structures including stages, marquees, etc. Depending on the size and type of the structure, a building permit may be required. Please visit the applying for approvals page for more information.
